Mai Chi’s Life

A Celebration of Mai Chi’s life will be held Saturday, March 1, 1997 at the Still Meadow Meditation Center in Portland. The celebration will last from 2:00–6:00 pm.

We would like marimba groups and mbira players to provide the music. Donations will be taken to pay for the use of the center. You can also help by assisting with clean-up and bringing snacks and drinks.

Please bring pictures of Mai Chi, special stories or songs, and anything else you would like to share about this truly special person.

Directions to Still Meadow Community

From I-205, take exit 12 to Clackamas/Estacada. Turn right on Hwy 212-224 heading east. Travel 3.1 miles to the stop light, bear right onto Hwy 224. In 1 mile you will pass through Carver where the road takes a sharp left curve. Travel about 2 miles and then turn left on Marna Road. Travel up Marna Road about 1/4 mile to the top of the hill. Just past the cedar home on the left watch for the Still Meadow sign marking the gravel driveway. Follow the driveway to the parking lot.
