This exhibit combines images from two photographic essays: a project documenting musicians and instrument makers in Zimbabwe, and a photo essay of women and children in rural Zimbabwe.
Of his work he said, My people, their struggle and life within Africa is my inspiration... It is my hope to continue to capture the life of my people.
One of Zimbabwes foremost photojournalists, Chicago was 33 years old when he died of AIDS in 1995. Proceeds from this exhibit will go directly to Chicagos family in Zimbabwe.
